How To Promote Your Blog Without Posting Articles?

At times, we may be unable to post an article in the blog for about few days. For already established blogs this will not be a big issue for the owners as the blog will continue its saga because of its popularity. 

But what about the small(new) blogs? What will be the situation of its traffic if there is no post for about 10-15 days? The owner might surely be disappointed by seeing the blog's traffic stats. Also the engagement with the readers might be hampered. This results in drop down of alexa rank. 

So, somehow the blog traffic has to be maintained in healthy manner even when you are away from your blog. This is not a tough task and will be easy if you follow some tips. Today I gonna share them with you and note that these are just for maintaining the blog's traffic and are not meant to increase the traffic even without blogging.

So, here we go... 

• Start sharing the old articles of your blog on your facebook timeline.
• Also post them in the facebook groups and remember don't spam.
•  If you have a facebook fan page with huge number of likes , then it helps you the most. Get engaged with the likers by posting some funny facts and updating it daily. In the middle, post the articles of your blog. This can surely lift the social traffic.
• Also use stumbleupon for instant traffic. Remember, don't stumble the most recent articles. Just pickup any one of the old articles(preferably few months old posted ones) and stumble it.

• Ask your friends to share the posts that you have posted on their facebook timelines.
• Ask your friends to visit the site at the time they feel free.
• Leave comments on authority blogs having commentluv enabled.
• Answer questions in the forums.
• Pin your blog images to pinterest and add the appealing description.
• Go to nearby internet cafe centers and make your blog's homepage as the browser's homepage.
• Even you may use your mobile to get some hits on your site.(Don't click on your own ads during these times, sometimes in over excitement you may go on clicking on ads but it results in click bombing.)
• Use Reddit to drive traffic by sharing links. Make sure that you have selected the correct subreddit.
• If you have good relationship with other bloggers  then this can turn out good traffic because if they share the posts of yours then it will reach to the bloggers and this will increase your rankings as most of the bloggers will install alexa toolbar in their browser.
• Join blogging communities like blogengage.
• Simple trick is to update your fb status as "Missing my blog www.---.com soooo much.." etc., By seeing such status your friends may click on the link which can give some pageviews.
• Change your fb cover photo to your blog's logo and add some description to it by including your blog link.
