Well, viral post is infact a super post that can help you in drawing huge traffic to your blog/site. Higher the traffic, better the alexa and and so are the earnings. For every blog it's necessary to have some viral posts. Especially new blogs needs those posts badly for getting large number of visitors. Infact my blog do have some viral posts but I use the following one as an example for explanatory purpose..
Best ways to increase the traffic of your new blog/site
Writing such viral posts needs some carefulness and few tactics. If you are the one who is still trying to figure out the juice behind writing the viral posts, then you are at the right place. Today, I gonna explain you those tips. Here we go...
1. Observe the trend
As
you can see in the example, I have written about increasing blog's
traffic which is now the current trend as most of the bloggers are in
lust of getting the traffic to their sites. So, observe the trend
carefully and try your best to catch the readers expectations.
2. Choose Effective Title
The
post which you write should have a title in such a way that it creates
interest in visitors and they must feel anxious to know what it might
contain. Also choose right keywords in selecting the title. As on when
your title gets popular, eventually your posts starts going viral. Don't
make it too long or too short. Never forget that it is the title that
is first seen by visitor and clicking on "Read More" or "Continue
Reading" solely depends on the interest created by that title.
3. Write interestingly and explain in detail
Now
comes the crucial thing i.e., the body of the article. Though the title
brings visitors to the article, it is the body that makes visitors to
scroll down. So, attract visitor's attention in the starting lines by
telling them the importance of the topic you are explaining.Then explain the content in a detailed manner. Don't make them feel bore, as I always say try to be an interesting story teller.
Put relevant links in between the articles for further reading. As you can see in my example post, I used a link to the article "How to get likes for a facebook page easily?" for reader's reference.
Clear Readability is also important for a viral post so use bullet lists, numbered lists.
4. Spice it up
Spice
up your posts by adding images. Note that the images you add should be
appealing to the article. As you can see in my example post, I used an
image in which a boy is deeply thinking about something which is apt to
my title as many of the newbies thinks about how to increase their
blog's traffic. Use block quotes to grab the attention of readers showing them the importance of the text inside it.
5. Share it socially
This
is where most of the bloggers fall out. After writing the posts, share
it on various social sites like facebook, reddit, digg, stumbleupon and
so on..As we all know that social media is the best traffic generator so, make use of it to go your post viral. But remember, share it, don't spam it.
That's it, now you have got the total ideas of writing the viral post. So, why late? Pick up a trending topic and give it your best shot.
